今週から8月末まで、ハーバード大学医学大学院とボストン小児病院でストレスの神経的過程について研究をなさっている Rong Zhang 先生が定期的にSALCに来てくださいます。先生の研究テーマや、アメリカ・中国・日本での研究と日常生活、その他のトピックについても先生と気軽にお話ができる貴重な機会です。是非SALCに来てRong Zhang 先生に声をかけてください。スケジュールは、上のポスターをご参考ください。予約や登録などは不要です。

「研究歴」

Rong Zhang (PhD), is an alumna of Kyushu University. She worked at Fudan University as an Associate Professor after graduating from Dr. Furuse’s lab in Graduate School of Bioresource and Bioenvironmental Science at Kyushu University. In 2010, Dr. Zhang finished her post-doctoral training at the University of Cincinnati in USA. Since then, she has been appointed as a Faculty at Harvard Medical School and Children’s Hospital Boston. Dr. Zhang has developed a long-standing research interest to identify the neural mechanisms for stress and related mental diseases regulation since her PhD study in Japan. In Boston, as a NIH-funded PI, the core question asked by her team is how the PVHCrh-initiated an efficacious neural pathway to combat with the adverse environment.

Dr. Zhang has experienced various settings at Universities in the USA, Japan and China. She is a Visiting Assistant Professor at Kyushu University since 2015. Dr. Zhang has a strong interest in mentoring young scientists, and she is very happy to meet students at SALC for Q & A discussion and exchange ideas.
