マリア・チャツィオアニディはギリシャのアテネで生まれ育ち、幼い頃から動物に深い関心を抱きました。この情熱が彼女をアテネ農業大学で動物科学を専攻する道へと導きました。学問の道を歩む中で、彼女は特に動物組織学、特にニワトリに焦点を当てた分野に魅了されました。ニワトリはこれまで広く研究されてこなかった分野です。学問の道を歩み、彼女はスルチョードリ ビシュワジット博士の研究室に博士課程の学生として参加することになりました。マリアの研究テーマは、高温にさらされたニワトリにおける免疫機能調節におけるNPYの機能メカニズムを解明することです。彼女は自身の研究成果を社会に還元すること、そして指導教官や研究室の仲間から学ぶことに大きな喜びを感じています。

研究以外では、絵を描いたりかぎ針編みをしたりすることを楽しんでいます。また、田舎を散策したり、新しい静かな場所を探索したりすることも好きです。

Maria CHATZIIOANNIDI was born and raised in Athens, Greece, where she developed a deep interest in animals from an early age. This passion led her to pursue her studies at the Agricultural University of Athens, specializing in Animal Science. During her academic journey, she became particularly drawn to animal histology, with a focus on chickens, a topic that has not been widely explored. Her academic journey led her to join Dr. Vishwajit Sur Chowdhury’s laboratory as a Ph.D. candidate. The research theme of Maria is to reveal the functional mechanism of NPY in regulating immune functions in heat-exposed chickens. She is excited to contribute her findings and to learn from her supervisor and her fellow lab members.

      Apart from research, Maria enjoys painting and crocheting. She also likes walking and exploring new and peaceful places in the countryside. 

平松侑也さんは、共創学部の4年生です。そもそも以前から生物の体の構造に興味を持っており、実際の社会問題に結びついた研究であるということを魅力に感じ、この研究室に所属しています。彼はNPYが暑熱下の鶏に与える影響について研究しています。具体的には、NPYが体温の変化に与える影響やモノアミンへの影響について調べると同時に、NPYとメラトニンの相互作用についても研究しています。

趣味は、旅行とスポーツです。長期休暇には様々な国を訪れるのが好きで、スポーツはサッカーや野球、バスケットボールなど、様々な競技が好きです。

Yuya Hiramatsu is a 4th-year student in the Faculty of Interdisciplinary Science of Innovation. Originally interested in the structure of living organisms, he was drawn to this laboratory because its research connects to real-world social issues. He is studying the effects of NPY on chickens under heat stress. Specifically, he is investigating how NPY affects body temperature changes and monoamines, while also researching the interaction between NPY and melatonin.

His hobbies include traveling and sports. He enjoys visiting various countries during long vacations and plays a variety of sports, including soccer, baseball, and basketball.“

大嶺瑛万さんは、総合科学イノベーション学部4年生です。スルチョードリ准教授の授業で扱われていた瞑想とストレスに関心があったため、この研究室に所属しました。彼女の研究では、L-シトルリンが鶏の暑熱ストレスを軽減する効果に焦点を当てています。具体的には、L-シトルリンがブロイラーの血中コレステロール、卵質、そして夏の暑熱下における鶏のアミノ酸代謝をどのように調節するかというメカニズムを研究しています。

当初はこの分野の知識も経験も全くありませんでしたが、最近では自主的に分析や実験を行うことに慣れ、とても楽しいと感じています。

趣味は料理、食べること、テレビ番組、映画、お笑いを見ることです。

Ema OMINE is a 4th-year student of the Faculty of Interdisciplinary Science and Innovation. She joined this lab because she is interested in meditation and stress, which Professor Sur dealt with in his classes. her research focuses on the effects of L-citrulline to mitigate heat stress in chickens. In detail, he study the mechanisms by which L-citrulline regulates blood cholesterol in broilers, egg quality, and amino acid metabolism in layers under summer heat.

She had no prior knowledge or experience in this field at first, but she has recently become accustomed to conducting analyses and experiments independently, which she finds very enjoyable. 

Her hobbies are cooking, eating, watching TV shows, movies, and comedy.

谷内 涼覇さんは、総合科学イノベーション学部4年生です。ストレス研究に興味があり、ニワトリのストレス制御におけるNPYに関する研究を行っています。

部活：週5日ラクロスをしています。
食べること：福岡に来てから、とんこつラーメンにハマっています。
旅行：休日に旅行に行くこともあります。

Ryoha TANIUCHI is a 3rd-year student of the Faculty of Interdisciplinary Science and Innovation. He is interested in stress research. His research theme is on NPY in stress regulation in chickens. 

Club activity: I play lacrosse 5 days a week.
Eating: Since I came to Fukuoka, I have gotten addicted to Tonkotsu ramen.
Traveling: I sometimes go on a trip during the holidays
