JSPS Global Gathering 2026, Tokyo

Dr. Mohamed Zakaria Elhussiny participated in the JSPS Global Gathering Meeting, which brought together approximately 150 current and former JSPS fellows from diverse academic disciplines to exchange research experience and prospectives. Prof. Sugino Tsuyoshi, President of the JSPS, also attebnded the gathering. The event was held in Tokyo on January 31, 2026.

During the Research Talks session, Dr. Elhussiny presented his work entitled “Elucidation of Neural Mechanisms of Thermoregulation and Epigenetic Modifications by Amino Acids in Chicks,” focusing on hypothalamic regulation of body temperature and amino-acid–mediated thermotolerance under heat stress. The meeting provided a valuable opportunity for academic exchange and international networking.
