A “Brown Bag Lecture” is a lecture which you can listen to in a relaxed atmosphere while eating lunch you brought with you, unlike in a regular class. The name comes from the color of the paper bag used to carry light meals such as sandwiches.
As a facility for learning outside of the classroom, Kyushu University’s SALC organizes many different lectures following the motto “Let’s learn about the world!” Everyone is welcome to attend.
