Kyushu University graduate students and SALC teaching assistants Khadijah Omar and Nehlah Rosli established a Malay language table in 2019. The event ran from 2019 to 2020. During the sessions, the teaching staff taught vocabulary and basic grammar. The staff then encouraged the students to have conversations using the vocabulary and grammar they learned.
