SALC invites Kyushu University students and faculty to participate in a workshop on housing development utilizing the People’s Process, an approach formulated by Lalith Lankatilleke. Mr. Lankatilleke has spent over four decades working in the field of human settlements. He led UN-Habitat housing development projects in Asia and Africa, including Sri Lanka, South Africa, Bangladesh, Namibia and Afghanistan. If you have an interest in helping people in developing countries – including areas affected by war and natural disasters – please come to this workshop to learn how to do so, and discuss your ideas with other participants. No experience or expert knowledge needed – anyone can join!
