Let’s learn about the startup culture in the U.S!
■ Course Abstract
This course is targeted towards young entrepreneurs and will include an opportunity to design a business plan and actually pitching it to investors in the United States by going to Boston. This course is organized by Kyushu University in collaboration with Babson College (USA), the most popular university for entrepreneurship.
In the first part of this course (July), you will come up with an idea and create a prototype plan for a business in Japan. In September, you will learn from fellow students and the instructors at Babson College, the necessary entrepreneurial mindset and skills and apply them to improve your business plan. In the final stage of the course, you will go to Boston and have discussions with the locals, and finally, you will have the opportunity to pitch your business plan to investors at CIC
(Cambridge Innovation Center) in Boston.
■ Who can participate in this course?
Second year undergraduate students and above including master or doctoral course students are eligible to apply to this course.
Students from all majors and programs are welcome to apply.
■ Funding
QRAC will fund your travel (flight tickets) and your accommodation for this course.
(All other personal expenses are the responsibility of the individual.)
