The laboratory conducts experimental research on human brain function, cognition, and affect. For students who wish to participate, we operate a mailing list to distribute recruitment information.
How to Register (Mailing List)
Kyushu University students who wish to participate can access the registration form by scanning the QR code below and register for the laboratory mailing list. After registration, you will receive notifications only when participants are being recruited. You may respond and sign up only when you are interested in a particular study. The administrator of the mailing list is indicated in the registration form.
Eligibility, Location, and Compensation (General Guidelines)
- Eligibility
- In principle, Kyushu University students who are able to come to the designated experimental location (specific conditions, if any, will be stated in each recruitment notice).
- Recruitment Period
- Irregular (announced separately for each experiment).
- Duration
- Approximately 2 hours per session (varies depending on the experiment).
- Location
- In principle, experimental rooms in Center 3 Building, Ito Campus, Kyushu University.
- Compensation
- In principle, JPY 1,000 per hour (in accordance with university regulations). Transportation expenses are not provided.
Ethics, Safety, and Privacy
All experiments are conducted based on research plans that have been reviewed and approved by an ethics committee. Prior to participation, a full explanation will be provided and informed consent will be obtained. The research is designed so as not to cause psychological or physical distress in principle, and personal information and privacy are strictly protected. Participation is entirely voluntary, and you may withdraw at any time after joining (contact information will be provided in each recruitment notice or consent document).
Important Notes for Participants
Experiments are conducted according to carefully arranged schedules. Please be sure to arrive on time. If you are unable to attend due to unavoidable circumstances, please contact the person in charge in advance.
Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations may significantly affect the research schedule, including changes to experimental plans or disposal of prepared materials. If something unavoidable occurs, please inform us as soon as possible. Depending on the situation, we may refrain from sending future recruitment notices or accepting participation requests.
