Profile
ZHANG Jingna is a doctoral student in the Graduate School of Systems Life Sciences at Kyushu University, supported by the Next Generation Scholarship. Within the field of brain science and EEG research, she specializes in olfaction, having collaborated with a leading multinational technology company on scent-related cross-modal perception. Currently, she investigates the interactive effects of olfactory and semantic emotional valence on false memory using the DRM paradigm, EEG, and behavioral experiments. In the future, she aims to explore how olfactory encoding can enrich human life experiences, particularly investigating its novel role in the digital age. Through her research, she hopes to contribute to a future where scent brings a new, multi-sensory dimension to our increasingly digital world, ultimately deepening our cognitive and emotional connections.
